Zack Michaelson

Zack Michaelson is a Senior Director at Publicis Sapient, leading the digital assets and financial services emerging technologies vertical. He is also a professor, a member of the finance faculty at NYU since 2008, where he teaches courses on alternative investments, fixed income, and monetary policy / macroeconomics. Much of his career in industry has been as a macro portfolio manager at hedge funds, but before Publicis Sapient he came from Equity & Security Services at Citi, working on blockchain, AI/ML, and exotic risk systems. Mr. Michaelson has also served for years as an expert witness in litigations and criminal actions involving alternative investments, digital and illiquid assets, and derivatives. His past speaking engagements on digital assets and macroeconomics have included co-leading the monthly macro roundtable for Gerson Lehrman Group, as well as appearances on CNBC and i24 News.
