Valerie Noel

Valérie Noël is Head of Trading at Banque Syz (all asset classes). She was head trader for SYZ Asset Management for more than ten years. She managed multiple IT migrations and the digitalization of the group. She returned to Banque Syz as Head of Trading in 2021, after launching a digital financial institution in Geneva as Head of Markets. She lead the project for the creation and launch of the digital asset offering for the bank. She was responsible for the connectivity, counterparty selection/exchanges, risk management for the project. Prior to joining the bank, Valerie held senior trading positions at HSBC Private Bank (Head of US equity trading in Geneva), Crédit Commercial de France (Geneva), Salomon Smith Barney (Geneva/New York) and UOB (Geneva) when she started her career in 1994. Valerie is a graduate of IMD Executive education - Strategies for leadership and MIT Sloan Blockchain and Crypto: From decentralized finance to Web3.
