Jonathan Bier

Jonathan is CIO of Farside Investors and manages a specialist long only crypto equity fund. Prior to that Jonathan launched the Elwood Blockchain Equity Index in 2018, another long only equity product, which produced annualised returns of 58.5% for the four year period Jonathan managed the product. Jonathan currently serves on the board of Brink, a charity that supports open source Bitcoin developers. Jonathan is also a Venture Partner at VC firm Cadenza. He has authored two books: The Blocksize War and Reckless: The Story Of Cryptocurrency Interest Rates. He has also written a series of research articles for crypto trading platform BitMEX, where he has been Head of Research since 2017.
