James Delaney

James is a director of asset management regulation at the Alternative Investment Management Association. Prior to that he worked at the Financial Conduct Authority for 16 years where he was most recently a technical specialist in its International Division and was the FCA’s representative on the International Organization of Securities Commission’s Committee 5 on Investment Management. Between 2013 and 2016 James was seconded from the FCA to the asset management unit of the European Commission’s DG FISMA.
