James Courtenay

James Courtenay has over 35 years experience working in Finance. Having spent most of his career in banking in Europe and Asia. Most recently, he was Head of International Corporates at Standard Chartered, with responsibility for delivering all the bank’s corporate and investment banking products and services to its largest clients across the world. He retired from banking in 2017 to set up his own advisory practice helping businesses and investors to structure financing solutions. He has been a board member of Obligate since 2020. He is based in London.
