Hugo Langeen

Hugo Langéen is a co-founder and CEO of the Swedish crypto asset management company Valid Alpha, which launched the crypto arbitrage fund ValidOne in February 2022. Before establishing ValidAlpha, Hugo co-founded and managed an AI-driven FX-fund. His path to starting and operating algorithm-based hedge funds is unconventional. Hugo began his career as an alternate solo bassoon player at the Malmö Opera Orchestra. He later became one of the world's most renowned online poker players, specialising in big data and behaviour analysis. To transition into the fund business industry, Hugo managed his personal portfolio for ten years while collaborating with top-tier trading experts.
