Daniel Schmid

Daniel Schmid joined Bank Syz in 2018 and has been the head of the Compliance department for three years, during which he worked on the compliance and regulatory aspects of the implementation of the Syz crypto services. Prior to joining Syz, Daniel worked as a Risk Analyst and Compliance Officer at Société Générale (Switzerland). Daniel received his MA in Quantitative Economics and Finance from the University of St. Gallen (HSG) and his BSc in Economics from the University of Lausanne (HEC). He also completed his CAS Compliance in Financial Services at the University of Geneva and is a CAIA charterholder.
