Ariel Navarro

Ariel is the Co-Founder and CEO of Whale Capital, a crypto fund. He is responsible for driving strategy at Whale Capital across product, sales, operations, legal, and compliance. With over 20 years of experience in strategy, investment banking, and transactional banking, he began his career at Banco Santander as part of the founding team of Allfunds, Europe’s largest fund platform. He later joined Citibank, where he held several leadership roles across capital markets and transactional banking in New York, Hong Kong, and Korea. In 2016, he became Country Head of Securities Services at Citibank Korea, successfully restructuring the business and doubling revenues. Ariel returned to Spain in 2021 and co-founded Whale Capital in 2022. He holds a Business degree from the Autonomous University of Madrid, an MBA from UNC Kenan-Flagler, and completed the Executive Program at Singularity University.
